Nyungwe Forest National Park

Nyungwe Forest National Park is one of Africa's oldest and most biodiverse rainforests β€” a vast, ancient ecosystem spanning over 1,000 square kilometres in southwest Rwanda. Rich with primates, birds, and rare flora, it offers some of the continent's most rewarding primate trekking experiences. The park is home to habituated chimpanzee groups, 13 primate species including colobus monkeys, and over 300 bird species β€” making it a paradise for wildlife lovers and photographers.
